Halo Filter

Halo HEPA Air Filtration

With Halo, we are setting the standard for classroom Indoor Air Quality (IAQ). The Halo, designed for laboratories but tested in real-world classroom settings, reduces airborne particulate load without costly modifications to your HVAC system. Unlike floor units, Halo operates by mounting to your ceiling, away from possible interference and allowing for optimal airflow to remove harmful pathogens from your breathing zone.

Halo EPA Filtration Capabilities

Halo’s HEPA Filtration capabilities are effective down to 0.1 micron in size. The average dust particle is around 10 microns, the average bacteria is 1-3 microns across, and the average virus is 0.1-0.5 microns in size.

Simply put, the particles that get people sick can’t escape from Halo’s filtration capabilities.

H14 medical-grade HEPA filters capacity and efficiency

Capacity & efficiency

A Permanent Solution for Room Level Mitigation Without the Need for HVAC Upgrades

Originally developed to capture pathogens (viruses, bacteria, etc.) from the air in laboratories, Halo stations are backed by more than 50 years of experience in Indoor Air Quality improvement. They are proven to reduce the risks associated with exposure to poor-quality air and are perfect for any enclosed or poorly ventilated space.

A permanent solution for room level mitigation without the need for HVAC upgrades

H14 medical-grade HEPA filters capacity and efficiency is only part of the HALO’s effectiveness, engineering, design and placement are critical for equivalent air change rates (eACH) increased ventilation effectiveness, and improved room mixing. The delicate balance of all these key factors is what makes HALO the standard in indoor air quality.

Halo vs. Floor-Mounted Units

Halo Ceiling-Mounted Unit

Pushes air up and away from breathing zone

Data collected from classrooms with human use

Fully independent from HVAC, with remote connectivity via iPad/phone

Always on for continual air quality improvement

No harmful by-products and ceiling mount eliminates interference

Halo Filter
FLOOR-MOUNTED UNITS

Recirculates contaminated air at nose/mouth level

Only tested in controlled settings and not realistic for classroom

Recommended placement creates electrical and safety hazards

Only operates when turned on, allowing for pathogen accumulation

Can be pulled over, unplugged, and produces airborne by-products

FEWER MISSED DAYS. MORE CHILDREN IN SCHOOL.
